Discovering horses taught me to love and enjoy observing them as they play together out in the fields just being themselves. I have come to appreciate their strong, beautiful lines and realized that they could form a lovely contrast with the soft, feminine lines of women. Using the fluidity of watercolor, I decided to unite the two forms, (women and horses) to bring out their complimentary beauty putting them in harmony with each other.
